Raaaaaaaaawwwrrr!
After the departure of two band-members, that made up the original ZoƩ, Minor Complex withdrew from the scene. With our own material no longer suitable for the stages of Manga conventions, we suddenly found ourselves faced with the same question as other local bands: Pay to Play over the lousy PAs of even lousier shitholes or don't play at all. With bass-players being a rare good around these parts and other projects taking their toll, we went for the second option and the songs we wrote went into the huge barrique barrel, that was our new rehearsalspace. What began as an excuse to record some jamming and get drunk at Petra's place, turned into a really decent collection of music, that Iam proud to be a part of. Yes, the mixes of some songs seem a bit odd, but that's because many of them started their lives as demos, with all the tracks recorded on a simple Mini Disc. Only through trial and error, we noticed what we would be able to achieve if we really tried.
Now these 13 songs stand as a monument of our friendship, a legacy of the time we shared and a prospect for the things, that might have been, or might yet still linger somewhere in the misty realm we call the future. With this we leave you, with more than you had before and maybe the spark of an idea.
May these songs help you through the void - and if the void is a long voyage on an old jolting train.
